Occupational Physician – Full-time – permanent contract
The ASTF is a leading player in occupational health and prevention in Luxembourg. Our mission is to provide medical monitoring and support to employees in the financial sector, in close collaboration with employers and multidisciplinary teams.
As part of the development of the ASTF, we are looking for a full-time permanent occupational physician.
Responsibilities
1.Conducting medical examinations
Carry out mandatory medical examinations: pre-employment, periodic, return-to-work, reintegration, or reassignment, and exemptions.
Advise employers and employees on workplace adaptations, ergonomics, and occupational risks.
2. Prevention and promotion of well-being at work
Actively participate in the prevention of psychosocial risks.
Lead awareness-raising or training actions in companies regarding occupational health.
3. Multidisciplinary collaboration
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (psychologists, ergonomists, social workers, etc.).
Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices and the public service mission carried out by the ASTF.
4. Implementation of prevention programs
Collaborate in the implementation of the prevention programs proposed by the ASTF.
5. Representation of the ASTF
Be the representative of the ASTF with the companies you will be in charge of.
Profile and Skills
Education:
Degree in occupational medicine or equivalent recognized in Luxembourg.
Experience and Skills:
Strong interest in topics related to occupational health, prevention of psychosocial risks, and ergonomics. Proficient in French and English, both spoken and written (German/Luxembourgish is an asset).
Key Skills:
Comfortable with public speaking. Team spirit, autonomy, and attention to detail. Active listening and ability to advise employers and employees.
